Provide support and assistance for the Denver Police Department by coordinating and performing a broad scope of tasks. Support the department by performing both short-term and long-term assignments as requested by department staff. Chosen to take on a very important long-term assignment, which is awarded to only the most trusted volunteers; responsible for shuttling police vehicles to and from the main fleet garage and service station. Participate as a role player for the reality-based scenario training program to assist new police recruits in obtaining valuable, hands-on training while in the Denver Police Academy. Serve as a community liaison for the Denver Police 16th Street Mall kiosk; interface with various individuals including community residents and tourists, providing information and directions as needed. Request assistance from uniformed officers during times of crisis to ensure the overall safety and security of the general public. Selected to participate in various short-term assignments, including police memorial, community outreach initiatives and administrative activities. Volunteered 550+ hours to the department, performing weekly tasks to support overall goals and objectives. Built and continue to manage strong relationships with personnel at all levels of the organization, including patrol officers, leadership team and Police Academy staff.

Founded and provide strategic leadership for Front Range Teens, a job-program for at-risk youth in the Denver Metro area. Hold full responsibility for all program tasks, including recruiting and leading youth participants, developing community partnerships and managing accounting, compliance, reporting and administrative functions. Recruit and lead a team of up to 26 teen participants, providing ongoing coaching, mentoring and guidance to support their overall growth and progression. Coach and guide teens in establishing a strong business skill set that focuses on communication skills, building relationships and selling/upselling products through hands-on training and door-to-door sales of candy. Educate the teens on door-to-door sales activities to assist them in building a strong sales base. Build and manage relationships with counselors and caseworkers at schools and municipal agencies, as well as parents to coordinate program paperwork and discuss program guidelines. Coordinate and lead trips and activities for all teen program participants, including skiing, Waterworld, river rafting and camping; recruit chaperones and manage logistics, ensuring the overall safety of teens. Mentor program participants, assisting them in developing professional and personal goals, financial planning and achieving their overall potential.
