I am a vastly experienced commercial solicitor and trade mark attorney with a career spanning over thirty years, managing risk and opportunities relating to trade marks, branding, copyright, design rights and domain names at both national and international level. The breadth and depth of my experience includes national law firms, trade mark agencies as well as in house experience for several UK brand owners.I act for a wide variety of corporate brand owners, ranging from FMCG to fashion and the service industries. I handle a wide range of contentious and non-contentious IP matters including conducting and supervising litigation, portfolio management, trade mark clearance and registration and licensing.I started working in IP in 1981 when I joined Deacons in Hong Kong. I have worked for law firms and trade mark agency firms in the UK as well as working in house at Guinness and at Shell, joining Sipara in 2011.
