I handle all aspects of trade mark legal work, providing legal and strategic advice at all stages of the trade mark process from creation to enforcement. I have experience of working with a wide range of clients, from private individuals to SMEs and multinational companies, and in a wide variety of industries.I regularly advise and guide on selecting a mark, clearing a mark for use, protecting the mark nationally and internationally, maintaining and defending the mark, exploiting a mark, and enforcing trade mark rights. I have represented clients at the UK IPO, the EU Trade Mark office (OHIM), and have experience of High Court litigation and appeals to the General Court (European Court of Justice). I have also acted for clients in domain name disputes using the dispute resolution services at WIPO and Nominet (in the UK). I have also arranged anonymous purchases of domain names on behalf of "big name" clients.I have worked closely with anti-counterfeiting agencies and Customs authorities in the UK and EU, and have supported Trading Standards and Police raids in connection with criminal enforcement of clients' trade mark rights.I am an INTA committee member, and regular attendee at the INTA annual and leadership meetings.

I handled a wide range of trade mark related work for clients ranging from private individuals to SMEs to multi-national conglomerates. Some of the clients I worked for included Samsung Electronics, Crabtree & Evelyn, Betfair, ITN, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Cambridge University Press, The University of Cambridge and many more. I was made a partner in 2005, and effectively ran the trade mark department until I resigned in 2008, when my family and I moved away from London.
