Srinivasan Services Trust - CSR Arm of TVS Motors and Sundaram Clayton Ltd. * Village level planning of activities in the communities to improve the socio-economic condition of the communities.* Organize training programme in income generation activities (IGP) of women self-help group members and ensure sustainable business and income.* Formulate proposals/ projects for initiating new / improving IGPs for women SHG members.* Identify different market places/ vendors; organize value addition programs to enhance the income level/ livelihood of women members in the communities.* Ensure farmers are practicing comprehensive agricultural & livestock practices in the villages.* Organize farmers’ exposure visits to establish a culture of sharing and adoption of best practices among them.* Form farmers-based community organizations.* Develop a relationship with the veterinary centres & other related Govt. officials by periodic visits with a purpose to bring the services closer to the villages.* Organize or coordinate with concern department for veterinary vaccination program in villages as a preventive measure.* Assist families to avail agriculture & livestock welfare schemes from concern Govt. departments.* Discuss with the community, school authorities and health authorities on the proposed improvement works planned.* Organize health camps in villages, schools, anganwadi centres with the support Health centres and other institutions.* Create connect to involve the community to undertake environmental related initiatives.* Educate through awareness campaigns on environmental related aspects.* Conservation and rejuvenation of waterbodies through community engagement. Creation/ desilt of lakes/ ponds in reserve forests.* Integrate with Govt. & institutions to bring development initiatives (physical & financial) to the villages.
