As the Lead Engineer in FDC, my responsibilities are # Mathematical Model development, simulation and analysis of the eVTOL aircraft dynamics for non-terminal, terminal and transition phases. # Generation of aircraft aerodynamic database from numerical, experimental and CFD approaches and validation of the aerodynamic data. # Control law structure and architecture development for the eVTOL aircraft. # Established a framework for Model Based Development workflow for aircraft controller development, integration and testing. Under this workflow, I supervise - the process of converting the aircraft model to be RT compliant for Hardware-In-Loop simulations. - the workflow for analysis of the preliminary airframe analysis for the stability and control characteristics of the eVTOL aircraft. - the development of aircraft parametric model for interactive simulation for rapid control prototyping of the flight controller hardware for control law validation and controller parameter tuning. - the development of sub-scale testbeds for in-flight validation of the control law through field tests, leading to full scale prototype tests.
