Responsibilities• Complete procurement responsible for control valve components.• Procurement of pressure retaining Castings,forgings,raw materials, machined components and sub assemblies for control valve, Level Transmitters and Actuators• Material planning as per the shipment plan.• Identification of shortages for the work orders based on monthly plan.• Expedite the required materials from various vendors by direct as well as sub-contracting.• Planning and Procuring Raw Materials & components based on forecast planning to reduce lead time.• Identification and resolving the bottlenecks in manufacturing at vendor places to provide smooth flow of material in the assembly.• Implementation of KANBAN SYSTEM over vendor to achieve smooth flowing of material to the shop floor.• Enquiry generation and getting quotation from supplier/Vendor.• Negotiation with vendor for pricing, payment terms and delivery.• Preparation of Rate Contract for Standard parts.• Vendor development for New components/products.• Inventory & Supply Chain Management.• Conducting periodical visit based on Forecast at vendor’s End.• Being a key user for Implementation of Oracle system in the company.• Setting Quality and Quantity Targets with Vendors on monthly/quarterly basis and facilitate vendor in achieving them. Passed RT & UT LEVEL II: ISNT TRICHY CHAPTER

Sourcing of Steel Castings,forgings,bought out Parts and Heat TreatmentForgings.

 Casting Inspection and Sample Casting Marking and Dimension Inspection. Reviewed foundry practice as per sampling plan. Online inspection for running jobs. Follow up with subcontract activities by using ERP. Testing Procedure as per Standard API 6A. Experience in product development, tooling and Defect analysis. Coordinate with ISO Procedure and day to day activities. To check as per ASTM standard for Material Specification for each and Individual items. Knowledge of casting techniques and forgings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Inward material Inspection and Clearance,. Preparation of Material Test Certificate and verification. Foundry Approval and Witness pouring of Samples. Testing as per API Standards. Looking after heat treatment and welding procedure.
