We follow a sectional modular approach to deliver permanent, bespoke buildings in line with all relevant (DfE) building bulletins and regulations, offering a turnkey solution.My role focuses on mainly working with clients in the Education sector, managing projects from initial concept development through to handover to our Operations team ahead of work starting on site. My key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:- Requirements capture;- Undertaking site surveys to collect the required data to inform an Architect led design. Advising clients on site viability, design ideas and cost implications;- Instructing all relevant surveys required to inform a solution and planning application;- Working alongside client employed Architects, Building Surveyors, PMs etc to advise on site viability, costs, design suitability to our system etc to inform feasibility studies;- Costing projects;- Managing bids on various portals/frameworks;- Working alongside the Sales Manager and Commercial Manager to manage commercial risks through contract negotiation (primarily JCT D&B contracts);- Key Account Management;- Engaging with our supply chain to deliver accurate information and solutions;- Handover to Operations Team for delivery.

Prior to their acquisition by TG Escapes, I worked with The Stable Company as a Business Development Manager. The Stable Company were a Design & Build contractor delivering timber framed buildings across various sectors.My role here involved heading up our Education sector, the companies largest market in which I delivered significant sales growth during my tenure. My responsibilities here largely mirrored those within my current role at TG Escapes with the following additions:- Writing, submitting and managing all planning applications in which I maintained a record of 100% approval;- Producing layout drawings using Sketchup Layout;- Involvement throughout the whole project life cycle. From enquiry through to practical completion;In June '20 (the beginning of the Covid pandemic) The Stable Company entered into Voluntary Creditors Liquidation before the assets were acquired by TG Escapes. Whilst the acquisition was processed I took the opportunity to work directly with a Buckinghamshire based Independent school to deliver a new EYFS building.This opportunity provided an excellent opportunity to help this client from a tricky place (a part completed building required to be in use by the coming school term) and gain invaluable experience. This is a project I am particularly proud with the building being delivered ahead of programme and within budget.With many previous subcontactors unpaid for their work to date when this project went on hold I re-negiotated on behalf of the school to get the project back underway and whilst ensuring the client fulfilled their CDM requirements. I also maintained a regular presence on site.
