JOB SUMMARY:The Manager of Information Technology is responsible for the planning and execution of integrating computer applications to manage business operations and increase employee productivity which includes selection, installation, upgrading, and daily maintenance of these software applications.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Leads a team of IT Specialists with duties that include business process analysis and optimization, mapping of software application functionality to these processes, and application development and maintenance of periodic software processes to maximize employee productivity and improve decision making throughout the business.• Provides data and assists in the analysis of data from various applications.• Manages the application helpdesk efforts to respond to requests for functional and technical assistance for corporate applications.• Establishes and maintains relationships with service providers to supplement the efforts of the internal business analysis team.• Continually optimizes the application environment and footprint to meet the changing needs of the business.• Manages EDI, API, and other technical data interfaces included in the application environment.• Facilitates decisions to set priorities for application improvements and other assistance requests with application stakeholders, and is then held accountable for following through on the agreed priorities.• Manages the licensing of ERP and other corporate applications to ensure the business needs are met with the most cost effective licensing strategy possible.• Personally programs report’s and other technical solutions.
