As a Risk & Compliance Quality Analyst, I was responsible for the supervision and monitoring of our in-house database of companies. We collected and aggregated information using corporate news and other publicly-available sources, which we used to tag companies under categories such as corruption, fraud, regulation, sanctions, anticompetitive and financial issues, and labor and social disputes, among others. During this time I also made notable contributions in operational efficiencies, with several cross-team collaborations and stretch assignments. Some of the automated solutions were adopted by or implemented in other global teams.

VentureSource was an in-house database of companies and investors, tracking deals done in Venture Capital and Private Equity globally. Our team collected information about early-stage investments into startups, as well as IPOs, M&As and other transactions. My focus was on supervising and monitoring our database, and on creating operational efficiencies. I worked on improving existing processes as well as creating new ones. Some of these I automated and the company later adopted globally in other teams. I also led the organization, planning, creation and maintenance of our documentation. Additionally, I became a consultant for an in-house entrepreneurial program.
