In my role as a Customs Clearance Agent at DHL Express, my team and I were responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across Israel's international border. This primarily involved managing customs paperwork and following complex Israeli customs and international trade regulations.Besides handling paperwork, we were responsible for ensuring that shipments left on time and didn't face delays. This required closely following customs instructions to meet deadlines. As a Squad Commander and Drill Sergeant in the IDF, I had the privilege of shaping the future generation of combat artillery soldiers of the Israeli Defense Forces.My primary responsibility involved leading a squad of approximately 10 soldiers through an intensive 8-month training program. During this program, my team and I were responsible for teaching them anything and everything they would need to know about being soldiers and artillery combat; From the induction of military discipline, through physical fitness development, responsibility, endurance and mental strength, to combat field ethics and the general importance of just being decent human beings.In addition to teaching and training my role involved various other responsibilities. This included managing schedules, meeting deadlines, achieving objectives, working under pressure, multitasking, effectively managing the team, collaboration with staff members, and making independent problem-solving decisions in dynamic situations.
