In the role of Director of R&D at MEEM, a hardware startup, I led a team in crafting the revolutionary MEEM Memory cable. This innovative phone charger cable not only charges but also automatically backs up personal data every time you charge your Android or iPhone. My responsibilities covered system architecture design, firmware implementation, hardware design, and BOM optimization. I successfully managed the technical aspects of mass manufacturing, ensuring compliance with CE/FCC and MFi certification standards.

I kickstarted my career as an embedded engineer at Silvan Innovation Labs, focusing on IP network cameras powered by TI DaVinci processors. With expertise in the entire software engineering life cycle, I led the design and development of IP-based surveillance cameras. My responsibilities spanned Linux kernel driver development, hardware board bring-up, and software file system optimization for TI's OMAP and DaVinci processors. Notably, I contributed on-site at Texas Instruments, developing a Miracast-based streaming device, showcasing my prowess in application layer development, boot-time optimization, power optimization, and Linux frame buffer-based GUI development. I also collaborated with NXP Semiconductor to design and develop the ONVIF protocol for NXP's IP network camera. Worked extensively on Linux kernel driver development, hardware board bring-up, and software file system optimization for TI’s OMAP and DaVinci series of processors. Gained experience on Finite state machine design and multi-threaded programming techniques.Worked on-site at Texas Instruments for designing and developing a Miracast based streaming device.
