Promotion to supervisory role within Sales Operations department (formerly Inside Sales). I supervised two Sales Operations Specialists while working closely with senior management at our out-of-state headquarters.

My responsibilities include issuing quotations for packaging equipment, project coordination upon order receipt which entails invoicing, liaise between customer and internal departments, attend manufacturing, engineering, and senior management meetings for order review/questions, preparing international shipping documentation including Letter of Credit requirements (if applicable), and shipment. I am also currently the "Local Driver" for the Sales Dept. for three company locations to implement SAP. I have trained multiple new hires to the Sales Department in the last several years. During my tenure, I have also been the Trade Show Administrator. This entailed traveling to the trade show location for install of the booth and equipment, attending the show as a representative of the Sales Dept., and teardown of the booth and machines for return to the plant.

I was promoted from Planning Clerk to Parts Coordinator. I entered orders for spare parts for our packaging equipment via phone call or fax. I learned many things including preparation of international shipping documents but most importantly, honing my customer service skills. I gained a broad knowledge of our equipment and interacted with all company departments.

My duties included putting shop order packets together for manufacture of spare parts and parts required to assemble packaging equipment. This entailed pulling and copying blueprints, printing shop order routers and operation sheets, if required. Shop order packets were then delivered to respective manufacturing shop departments.
