In my day to day I work for Corus Entertainment selling integrated packages and campaigns on both conventional TV (Global), Specialty TV stations (W Network, HGTV and many others), Radio (CKNW, Rock 101, CFOX and AM 730) and digital solutions locally and across Canada.Using market knowledge from 30 years in media in BC and combining this with TV, radio and digital intel has been a thrill and for a "TVaholic" like me....joyful.Always learning and always challenged in this new role. Stretching the grey matter.In my previous role as a New Business Development Account Manager for national media company, Postmedia, I developed creative integrated marketing programs that incorporated print, digital and social media options. Working with the Editorial newsrooms of both The Vancouver Sun and The Province, We managed to align key clients with timely and relevant content with outstanding results. Multi-platform programs that embrace all of the strengths and reach of the two daily papers in Vancouver have enabled clients to discover how effective their budgets can be.Specializing in identifying growth areas of business, thinking outside the box and making new contacts, I has seen repeated success in bringing in new clients and large revenue.Pinterest and FaceBook contests, content series in print, dedicated micro sites online, sponsored blogs, video content and much more......"If we can think of it, we can build it".On the side, I have done some social media and event marketing for the Minor Salmonbellies lacrosse club in New Westminster for which I served on the Executive. I also ran the New Westminster Hyack Football club Corporate Sponsorship program in New Westminster which allows me to get more involved in my own community.Currently working from home during a Pandemic has helped me to crystallize what’s really vital for success in business and it’s simple - relationships and authenticity.
