I have 40 years of food industry and healthcare experience and am a registered dietitian with an MBA. For 16 years, I worked as a food program specialist with Group Purchasing Organizations. Responsibilities included onboarding new members, providing expertise to maximize members' program value/savings and building a competitive industry-leading portfolio of food agreements to meet members' needs. The portfolio includes more than 400 food/food supply agreements covering all categories for foodservice operations and including food distribution. Specific knowledge of the food products included in the portfolio and food distribution's role with a GPO food program are key to my achieving success with the program. I also have 11 years' experience as a healthcare specialist in food distribution, 5 years with a foodservice management software company in sales and 8 years of clinical nutrition and foodservice operations experience in acute and long term health care settings as well as corrections.
