I had the pleasure of being a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling my daughters through middle school.Post-divorce, I am re-defining my career goals. Making a move back to Wisconsin from southern Indiana where I lived for 15 years, I have been substitute teaching in the public schools to get my feet back into the workforce. Most of my experience is in an administrative assistant role. Currently, I am earnestly seeking employment in an administrative position. I will continue to substitute teach until something permanent fits my needs and desires.I am most proud of my work ethic and feel this is what helps me to succeed in whatever role I am currently filling. I seem to function best at taking on tasks that are challenging! This stems from my love of learning! Although I am accustomed to working independently, I am very much the team player and enjoy the community and camaraderie of working in collaboration with peers.My other area of interest is working with children with special needs. Having a daughter with multiple learning challenges, I learned a number of techniques to assist her in her learning. I've attended hours of professional development programs in brain training techniques which not only served my daughter but myself as well.
