I instituted this innovative children’s collaborative afterschool program with the help of a sizable grant I applied for. I designed this program as a collaborative effort between five local organizations, and established it as its own non-profit organization. I also developed the school's curriculum and teaching materials; hired and supervised staff and volunteers; created advertising and publicity; established the budget and payroll and collected fees. I continued to direct the program, teach classes in the school, and maintain program site operations.
