I assisted in the acquisition of several retail locations. I was responsible for building a successful team of managers, designers and salespeople. The goal was to develop the cooperate vision of providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. I established policies and procedures to improve productivity, professionalism and employee retention.

I have worked with La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries several different times from 1994 until July of 2012. During my time with La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery I had the opportunity to be a part of this large dynamic company grow and change with the retail climate. I developed and implemented design and sales training to increase our market share. I attended the International Home Furnishing Market in North Carolina twice a year to create beautiful updated showrooms in our Michigan locations.
