*Review and approve supplier quality plans to meet product and submission requirements using AIAG PPAP methods. *Determine part critical characteristics and required process controls. *Function as a liaison between Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and North America Suppliers to resolve quality issues. *Determine cause of supplier quality issues through structured problem solving methods and coordinate/implement effective and timely solutions.Improve quality performance of suppliers by conducting workshops at supplier locations. *Provide technical expertise and assistance to develops and improve supplier quality systems. *Maintain required documentation and files. *Provide technical support and expertise in error proofing design of tooling, design of gauges both variable and attribute.

*Conduct reviews and initial approval of PPAP documentation for compliance to AIAG, Nexteer and Customer Specific Requirements.*Provide administrative support to the North America Supplier Quality team.*Set up and attend program launch readiness meetings.*Lead and support special initiatives/projects at direction of management.

*Develop, mainatain and submit PPAPs per Customer requirements.*Create and manage Control Plans, PFMEA, and Flow Charts.*Function as a liasion between Management, Pattern Shop, Sales, Production Supervisors, Logistics for PPAP sample parts.*Manage PPAP sample inventory.

*Perform dimensional layouts using Mitutoyo CMM*Perform GR&R and capability studies*Gauge calibration

*Perform chemistry analysis using spectrometer and carbon analyzer.*Provided required alloy additions needed to melt decks.*Responsible for ensuring metal meets established quality specifications.*Data entry and basic office duties.
