I run a unique Animal Welfare Organisation - WildCats Animal Welfare, a Queensland, Australia based animal welfare organisation and registered charity which does specialist work rescuing and rehoming lost, abandoned and wild (not feral) cats and kittens; after hours rescues and critical care and the rescue and rehoming/release of abandoned guard dogs and injured wildlife. Apart from admin and organisational duties, fundraising, PR etc I also do hands on animal rescues and care. One day I could be cooking sausages at a fundraiser BBQ and the next I might be cleaning out kitty litters and treating special needs animals or transporting cats to our specialist vets. Its hard work, often long and exhausting hours but also very rewarding to be able to help these animals and repair the damage done to them by other human beings.
