As Director of Social Relations and Philanthropy for the American Marketing Association at the University of South Carolina, I organize and manage social events and fundraisers, develop fundraising strategies, and build relationships with sponsors and community partners. My role involves promoting events, overseeing budgets, and leading a team to enhance AMA’s impact and engagement on campus.

In this role, I lead initiatives to promote diversity, inclusion, and equality within the marketing community, creating an environment where all voices are heard and valued. I work to drive positive change, foster innovation, and advocate for a more inclusive future in marketing through the members of the USC Chapter of the American Marketing Association.

As a Recreation Supervisor in Campus Recreation at the University of South Carolina, I manage the daily operations of recreational programs and facilities, ensuring an exceptional experience for students and staff. I lead a team of over 200 student employees, implement innovative recreational programs, and ensure high standards of facility maintenance and safety while servicing over 3,000 patrons a day.

In this role I work alongside and lead the member services division of Campus Recreation at USC. I assist hundreds of patrons regularly and facilitate a safe and positive recreation environment.

I was responsible for a range of tasks, including membership registration, access control, facility tours, and providing information to individuals using the recreational facilities. I used interpersonal skills and attention to detail to promote a healthy and active lifestyle in the campus community.

As a Guest Relations Specialist at Austral Salon, I manage the schedule for 11 stylists, book appointments, answer phone calls, and ensure smooth daily operations. I complete transactions, handle financial discrepancies, and maintain accurate client records. Additionally, I provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.

As the Alumnae Chair, I take pride in fostering connections and engagement within our alumnae community. My role encompasses strategic planning of alumnae events, facilitating effective communication with alumnae members, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

In this position, I assist the merchandise chair with all things merchandise for the Gamma Phi Beta Zeta Sigma chapter. I coordinate with brands, chapter members, and the executive council to fulfill orders and meet chapter goals. I have bettered my organization and communication skills, as well as learned more about creating and selling merchandise.

I served as the Social Media chairwoman for the Zeta Sigma chapter of Gamma Phi Beta international sorority. I managed all social media accounts associated with the chapter. In this position, I have grown my marketing and media skills, as well as increased my interaction with professional businesses and vendors.

As a Wedding Marketing Assistant at A Moi Weddings, I provided comprehensive support to the event planners by assisting at weddings, capturing captivating photos for social media content, and offering assistance wherever needed. Collaborating closely with the marketing team, I ensured the seamless execution of marketing initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of A Moi Weddings' brand presence and client experience within the wedding industry.

In this role, I managed the storefront and aided customers. I worked to make sure the shopping experience was satisfactory. I also created content for the official store Instagram and aided in design aspects.

Collaborated closely with campus managers to promote a University Tees pop up event at the University of South Carolina. I developed marketing strategies to promote the event. I also assisted at the event and enjoyed the whole process. This was a great experience working with a company focused on college age customers.
