I have led the team in a restructure of the junior year's program in the performing arts domain, integrating Musical Futures to the junior year's music program; and worked to improve the variety of study options for drama students in Years 7-10. I have introduced new electives in Stagecraft and Theatre Studies so middle-year's students may access a pathway through the performing arts into their VCE course. As a foundation member of staff at this relatively new secondary college in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, I have worked in a number of teams over the years to develop curriculum in Humanities, Drama, Arts and English. My previous teaching responsibilities have included establishing Alkira's VCE History program, working with a Year 10 Humanities team to set up the Australian Curriculum (History) based around the Alkira philosophy of personalised learning, and integrating technology into teaching practice.
