This project formed part of the newly established Enterprise Information Management department and involved Business Intelligence, SAP HANA and mobility. The custom developed mobile application enabled business performance management reporting securely on mobile devices.• Managed the BCM & IT Service Continuity project across Sasol Group (R6,6m). An As-Is assessment was done on the BCM capability and the ITSC capability for all IT systems. This led to the development of a To-Be state and an implementation strategy. • Delivered the global Mobile Device Management System implementation (R4,9m). The design, implementation and roll-out of the Airwatch Device Management System for all mobile devices used in Sasol.• Coordinated the Information Security Management System assessment (R3,7m). Various security assessments and penetration testing lead to the development of an Information Security strategy and implementation roadmap. This led to the programme as mentioned below.

Delivered the Group Energy project worth R440m. The national programme consisted of a collection of projects to alleviate power pressure from rolling blackouts resulting in income loss and slowing down of business operations. Various solutions were designed and rolled out at Liberty Head Office, four Office Parks, seven Shopping Centres and ten ‘IT critical’ Network nodes. The project entailed extensive civil and electrical work to install generator and uninterrupted power.Successfully delivered at all sites within an extremely pressured 19 month timeline. By implementing stringent financial governance procedures secured a saving of R55m. Managed the extended project team consisting of more than 500 people.
