Provide comprehensive medical care to adolescent and adult females in a Ob/Gyn office. Provide nutrition counseling for patients with gestational diabetes, PCOS, metabolic syndrome, obesity and other related dietary needs. Act in collaboration and consultation with physicians as needed for patients with complex medical needs and for high-risk obstetrical patients. Develop protocols for patient care in collaboration with other nurse practitioners and physicians. Act as a preceptor for nursing students at the undergraduate and graduate level of study.
