My role was focused on rebuilding 8 data integrations into Salesforce using in-house tools and solutions. This included facilitating technical conversations between numerous technological teams, building and iteratively improving upon automation into Salesforce, and communicating all upstream and downstream impacts throughout each iteration. This work saved the company over $300,000 and greatly improved the reliability of critical data streams into Salesforce.

My role was primarily focused on introducing an entirely new architecture to our Salesforce org — which was paramount to improving data integrity between numerous systems across the company. This work included introducing a unique identifier between systems and iteratively updating existing data integrations between the database tables and Salesforce to align with that new architecture.

I maintained the financial books for the organization, contacting donors to ensure information is up to date, distributing funds to appropriate accounts, and monitoring fundraising goals.

My job was to serve my clients with prompt, honest, and accurate information so they may purchase a vehicle based on their needs. This involved gathering information, assessing needs vs wants, and ultimately facilitating deals in a manner that ensured my customers would trust me again in the future.

Results: Organized a fundraiser at a local coffee shop to engage the community and raise funds for EKARI's efforts to build a hostel for their students. The advertisement is attached.Duty: After my trip to Phalombe, Malawi, a group of students and myself were inspired to create a group dedicated to raising awareness of the issues in Malawi. As Co-President, I worked hard to get the organization started: I organized and executed fundraising events to both raise money and get the community involved with our cause. Partnered with the EKARI Foundation, I planned our second annual Malawi Trip in 2016, using feedback to improve the experience.

Results: I organized the trip for my members to attend the annual AMS conference to New Orleans. I obtained lodging and travel funding through university-based grants. I also organized a opportunity for us to work with the Ann Arbor Hands On Museum to learn about tornadoes and other weather phenomena, which resulted in a successful program full of engaged and fascinated families.Duty: I helped organize our trip to the annual AMS conference, as well as various activities with the local science community. This involved organizing numerous fundraisers and outreach events to engage the community.

Results: After 4 months of personalized, weekly attention, all three students showed remarkable improvement in their literacy.Duty: I traveled twice a week to Detroit to improve the literacy of three struggling second-grade students. I created weekly individualized lesson plans to pinpoint their respective problems, keeping in mind their personalities and how to approach each subject. I made sure to gain their trust so that we could fully maximize our time together.

I worked with Assistant Professor Mark Flanner and I analyzed aerosol optical depth (and thus inferred aerosol emissions) on a global scale.

I worked with Associate Professor Jeremy Bassis analyzing river systems on the Greenland Ice Sheet and comparing them to terrestrial river systems.

I worked with Associate Professor Allison Steiner analyzing precipitation in the Great Lakes region and the effects of climate change.
