  Summary:The primary role of the Clerk of Congress is to supervise, organize, coordinate and manage session proceedings, office operations and procedures and record-keeping of the Congress to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This position acts as the custodian of all records of the Osage Nation Congress, and is responsible for the administration and maintenance of said records and to provide staff support to the Congress.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The Clerk of Congress duties include but are not limited to filing, recording, and printing all bills, resolutions, and amendments. Responsible for filing and recording of all directives and precedents set by the Speaker. This position will facilitate the keeping, or supervise the keeping of a correct journal and other records of the proceedings of the Congress. Responsible for the preparation and publication of all official congressional documents to the information page of the Congressional Website and ensures that all legislative records, such as daily session information, bills, resolutions, and their supplemental parts, are posted to the website and is responsible for the preparation and publication of a daily calendar.The Clerk of Congress is responsible for the preparation of the session agenda, tracker and serves as the Congressional Parliamentarian and shall advise the Speaker and Members on parliamentarian procedure and Congressional Rules. This position is responsible for managing floor sessions to ensure legislative rules and procedures are followed and official documents are correct, including the tracking of all bills and resolutions through the process and to call the roll.The Clerk of Congress shall have custody of and be responsible for the safekeeping of all communications, official papers, bills, resolutions, records, testimonies and other official Congressional material and shall ensure that public records are protected from deterio
