About Barbara Roback

I have been inspiring and guiding clients of all ages and aspirations to professional success for 15 years as both an individual practitioner and conceptualizer and developer of services. I am as adept in working with clients with little to no initial career direction as I am with individuals with a very specific end-goal. My talent is meeting my clients where they are and earning their trust so I can effectively educate, prepare, and motivate them to get to where they want to go. I'm known for my breadth of knowledge, resourcefulness, willingness to do what it takes to get the job done well, and ability to anticipate and creatively address challenges. I am fearless about taking up a new challenge to meet my client needs and interests. In previous lives, I was an international internal consultant for a Fortune 500 company; tax consultant for a small, private, family-owned firm; and public relations specialist for a quasi-public agency. In each, I refined previous skills, developed new ones, and gained exposure to hundreds of job fields and corporate cultures.Specialties: the undecided student, first-generation students, international students, liberal arts, STEM, working with clients in depressed markets, graduate and professional school applicants, events planning in tight time frames and with even tighter budgets.
