Barbara S. Davis is COO of the Entertainment Community Fund, formerly The Actors Fund, a national human services organization that helps everyone in performing arts and entertainment. Barbara leads a comprehensive array of programs including Social Services (The Entertainment Assistance Program, Addiction & Recovery, Seniors Care program , Women's Health Initiative, The AIDS Initiative, Dancers Resource), Health Services (The Artists Health Insurance Resource Center, The Friedman Health Center for the Performing Arts), The Career Center and Career Transition for Dancers. Barbara also Oversees the Fund's affordable housing projects and initiatives as well as the Actors Fund Home, an assisted living, skilled nursing and sub-acute facility. Reporting to the CEO, Barbara leads internal operations coordinating the efforts of programs, finance & administration and advancement. The Entertainment Community Fund is headquartered in New York City with offices in Los Angeles and Chicago, a nursing home in Englewood, NJ, and affordable housing residences in Manhattan, Brooklyn and West Hollywood, Barbara is a Trustee and Secretary of the Actors Fund Housing Development Corporation.
