I am President of Cave Henricks Communications, a PR firm for books, authors, and thought leaders. In 2023, I became the 8th recipient of The Jack Covert Award from Porchlight Books for my contribution to the business book industry.I began my career at NBC Radio, before moving into publishing 30 years ago. After stints at Workman Publishing and Houghton Mifflin Company, I became publicity director at Goldberg McDuffie Communications where I created and led the business book division. My initial pick for that division, First, Break All the Rules by Marcus Buckingham and Curt Coffman, became a NYT bestseller and began a relationship with Gallup that spanned 12 years and many bestsellers, including the perennial listmaker, StrengthsFinder 2.0 by Tom Rath.In 2007, I opened my own firm. The company has notably launched popular titles such as Discipline is Destiny by Ryan Holiday, Conscious Leadership by Whole Foods cofounder John Mackey, Play Nice But Win by Dell CEO & founder Michael Dell, StrengthsFinder 2.0 by Tom Rath, Beyond Entrepreneurship 2.0 by Jim Collins, The One Thing by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan, Hangry by GrubHub founder Mike Evans, The Innovator's DNA by Clay Christensen, Jeff Dyer and Hal Gregersen, Global Tilt by Ram Charan, and many more. I've worked on more than 125 bestsellers and with every major publishing house in the industry. Further, I've worked with some of the most respected organizations in the world, including Amazon, Arthur Anderson, The Aspen Institute, BCG, Dell, Deloitte, Financial Times, Gallup, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Innosight, Mercer, McKinsey & Company, pwc, Slack, and Whole Foods.I've had the privilege of working with business greats Jim Collins, Roger Martin, Jack Welch, Tom Rath, Seth Godin, Larry Bossidy, Arthur Levitt, Jack Bogle, Ret.
