Definition of the new country program strategy and also the contingency and the security plans.Coordination of an exploratory mission in the Andean part of the country to assess the pertinence and viability of opening a new hub in Ayacucho. Responsible for the relationship with the government and donors. Sectors of intervention: Food Security, Nutrition, WASH, Gender. Argentina (05/04 – 06/07)Definition of a new country strategy including an advocacy plan, contingency and security plan. In charge of institutional representation with government and donors. Supervision of all programs implemented. Coordination of three exploratory missions (Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay) in order to assess the viability of opening news hubs in those countries.Sectors of intervention: Food Security, Nutrition and Health, Investigation and Advocacy.

Burkina Faso - Gaoua (April 2000-July 2001)Implementation of the emergency operation (Food Aid and Nutrition) in order to assist the Burkinabé population (about 20,000) expelled from Ivory Coast: Management of the logistic aspects of the operation and local staff. Participation in a nutritional survey of beneficiaries (children under 5). Participation in periodic assessment of the local socio-economic and nutritional situation. Relationship with local authorities.Democratic Republic of Congo - Kisenge (June-December 1999)Implementation of the emergency operation (Food Assistance) in order to assist refugees (about 45,000) from Angola in co-operation with UNHCR and all other involved parties in Kisenge (Katanga).
