My experience includes work with traditional and charter schools, schools in fiscal distress, and school with priority school status.I have assisted my previous employers with budgeting, and was responsible for the budget development and board presentation of original, modified and final budgets for the board of education for the last five years. I understand the importance of compliance for federal and state grants. I have experience working with payroll for both large and small sized companies, my experience includes in house, and outsourced payrolls. I have been responsible for benefit renewals and packages including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, long term disability and 401k administration. I concentrated my master’s degree studies in human resources and fund accounting for not for profit and governmental entities. My experience has placed me on both the management side and union member side of work experience, and this has given me a strong foundation of understanding regarding the wants and needs of both. I have found that my leadership style involves a teamwork philosophy where each member is valued and respected. I believe that this approach ensures a maximum level of dedication toward reaching the organizations goals, and will ensure loyalty and trust when the tough decisions must be made. I believe that the strongest assets any organization can have are its employees. I believe in transparency, honesty, integrity, loyalty, and honor in the work place!
