My main responsibilities included keeping up to date the presence of STEP-IN on all social media platforms. In addition to that, I was running a project called People of STEP-IN. When necessary I helped with administration and overall running of STEP-IN's clinic a camp for internally displaced persons in Dawoodia, travelled with a mobile clinic to the villages around Dohuk, and helped out in a medical facility in Erbil, capital city of Iraqi Kurdistan run by STEP-IN.

Since I have been traveling a lot in the past year, I decided to make the most out of it and therefore I contacted major news outlets in Slovakia and offered that I can be writing articles. At first I started to write about the US presidential elections, where I reported from major presidential rallies. Then, I moved to Iraq where I was writing mostly about the situation of Yazidis in Northern Iraq and also about the ISIS turmoil. In addition to that I interviewed many people who had to flee from the Islamic State or escaped directly from their captivity.
