Facilitated executive-level education for an in-resident graduate-level program for future leaders from the U.S., allied militaries, and civilian personnel in Strategy and Policy as part of a Masters Degree program in Defense and Strategic Studies

Trained and led a highly competent team of 70+ observer, coach, trainers in U.S. Army tactics and operations across all specialties. Planned and led training in leadership and management techniques to internal and external audiences. Networked with over 25 different organizations and units across the U.S. Army Active, Reserve, and National Guard forces. Coached and evaluated organizational leaders in a variety of areas from organizational dynamics, talent management, risk mitigation, and tactical expertise.

Developed and briefed strategies to balance multiple portfolios of multi-million dollar systems and training initiatives in order to achieve desired capabilities. Developed and led portfolio working group across diverse locations and branches to ensure the best possible solution from all points of view. Briefed results to executive decision-makers to approve and begin implementation of necessary changes. Resulted in multiple portfolios re-prioritized within budget to better achieve operational goals.

Chiefly responsible for planning and executing the training and logistics support of a 500-800 person organization with a multi-million dollar operating budget. Oversaw the certification process for overseas deployment, development of information and intelligence gathering and management of decision making products as well as provided recommendations to senior leaders on application of assets, risk mitigation measures, and talent management. Managed the operations budget to include balancing required equipment maintenance, professional development and travel requirements, training, and new equipment procurement. Supervised teams that directly managed training and certification, scheduling, and data analysis.

Developed strategic communications products and messages for the senior leader of Fort Knox and the Armor community. Primary speechwriter for all engagements within the Army as well as with the community to include course graduations, retirement ceremonies, rotary club meetings, local radio broadcasts, and others. Developed weekly situation report to summarize events from across the entire Fort Knox community to send to key leaders across multiple Army headquarters. Drafted articles for bi-monthly professional journal publication about the current and future state of the Armor force, training initiatives, leadership, and other relevant topics. Facilitated strategic messaging regarding the major transition of location for the Armor Center from Fort Knox, KY to Fort Benning, GA with respect to impacts on the local communities, civilian work force, and service members involved.

U.S. Army Armor and Cavalry Officer at various locations and duty positions to include Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Cavalry Troop Commander, Small Group Instructor. Stationed at locations such as Fort Hood, Texas, Fort Lewis, Washington, and Fort Knox Kentucky. Operational experiences include deployments to Bosnia ('98) and Iraq ('03-'04, '09-10). Operated in M1A2 Main Battle Tank and Stryker-equipped organizations including all supporting equipment. Led, trained, and supervised Soldiers, and facilitated professional military education for junior officers.
