Implementation of basic lean principles and adapting current production methods to improve all factory KPIs and install a more robust reporting method. Introduce a newly designed platform and transfer existing products from Germany, together with all the necessary production and testing equipment required for a successful start-up. Ramp-up the production volumes (+23% YoY). Reduce the impact of generated costs on all product lines and other activities in the plant, to generate the maximum bottom line. Principle Objectives: Unification of two factories (Melano and Albacina) into a single production site. Define the production strategy and technical choices to be able to migrate all of the European hob production to this factory in order to generate 100% of the hobs for EMEA in a single site, including: the identification of all opportune actions to reach the maximum installed production capacity; to guarantee the necessary product availability for all markets; the mass-reduction of direct headcount; the optimisation of indirect costs and the re-organisation of all support structures in order to best support the new production.Direct reports: HR; Quality; Production; Industrial Engineering; Logistics; EH&S, Finance and Controlling; World Class Manufacturing.Key ResultsFull attainment of all assigned objectives within the required time-frame.Production increase from 1100 pcs/day to 8000 pcs/day.Management of the re-organisations with minimum social impact thanks to continuous involvement with the three trade unions.

Target 2013 1,2M pcs.- ISO 9000 e ISO 18000 certified.- Won the Company Quality Award in 2006 and also won ‘Narodnya Marka’ from 2006 to 2010 (Russias’ Favourite Brand for Washing Machines (locally produced)).- Respected the timing constraints and quality levels for all new products and supported the Laundry market share gain from 18% to 24%.- Improved the company image through a continuous contact with the local authorities and ‘the press’. - Project Leader for the introduction of a High-End production platform, achieving a reduction of 8% of - the target price and reducing the production start-up date by 7 weeks with respect to the project timing.

Principle Objectives: identify and implement a single structure that would qualify all suppliers - existing or future - address and resolve all Quality issues from a component-type management instead of each individual factory managing each individual issue.Key Results- in the first year the factories documented a 50% reduction in supplier caused line defects.- Documented and trained a team of 12 Supplier Quality Engineers and covered the entire supplier base in Europe.- personally audited around 150 different suppliers
