Charlene focuses her practice on employment and labor law litigation, defending employers in federal and state court in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. Her employment practice is focused primarily on civil actions arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA), the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law (WPCL) and the New York State Human Rights Law (NYSHRL). She represents clients before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and provides advice and counsel with respect to such issues as the drafting of employee handbooks and manuals, employee/workplace privacy matters, drug testing, and conducting internal investigations.She also handles varied pro bono matters including representing clients in immigration removal proceedings, contested divorce proceedings and criminal appeals.
