2001 to 2010 - IT Manager for 10 client organizations averaging 20 desktops and one server per site. Responsible for all IT operations – with the goal of managing IT resources to best fit the business goals and budgets of each organization. Tasks include the procurement, installation, configuration, maintenance, repair and replacement of Computer, Network, Telecommunication, Database, Application, ISP and Hosting infrastructures – emphasizing core competencies of reliable in-house operations, secure networks and communications, and disaster preparedness – with specialized IT functions tailored to particular client needs. Regular, direct customer technical support for all issues via telephone, remote desktop, and hands-on training and support.2003 to 2009 - Project Manager, Data and Voice Network Installations – Full life cycle of network installations – RFP responses, bids, project plans, sub-contractor management, as-built documentation for over 30 installations involving wired, wireless, fiber and cellular media. Projects included schools, offices, hotels, homes, and remote solar powered monitoring sites.2004 to 2008 – Data Mining and Analysis – For the Parents Alliance for Catholic Education – developed a new technique to assess poverty levels of students within Catholic Schools in Greater Boston, doubling the eligibility for Federal Title One funding during each two year funding round.2005 to 2008 - Project Manager, Security Cameras and Recording Systems – Established new line of business designing and installing security camera systems tightly integrated with computer technology and networks. Integrated web applications for security and surveillance at scattered-site housing developments. Testified in two Massachusetts Superior Court cases as an expert witness on issues of system operation – time-stamping, video quality, authenticity.
