About Barney Chan

I have recently relocated to Auckland to join my partner and wish to find permanent employment opportunity. I have a current work visa and will work toward a residency visa. I have over 6 years of experiences as a help desk and system support from working at Google and San Francisco hospital. I planned and configured the IT desktop infrastructure for a newly built hospital. Within this environment I gained skills, knowledge and experiences in providing IT support for both hospital staff and patiences. I appreciate and understand that computer supports for such environment need to be provided in an efficient and effective manner. At the hospital I was employee of the month and this prove that I can provide excellent services. Whilst at Google, I learnt to work within a fast paced and large organisation where I learnt to work with and understand the needs of multiple users. I am a team player, have a willingness to learn new skills and is flexible. I will bring a sense of humour to the team as well as superb customer services in the technology interfaces. My colleagues often praise that I will go the extra miles to help them to diagnose their issues as well as assisting them to understand the problems. Providing not only a solution but also show them how to avoid a potential issue.
