In January 2023 I moved roles within Golden Acre Foods from Purchasing to Stock Control and into a brand new role as Stock Control Specialist. I work with my Purchasing and Sales colleagues to communicate with our 3PL warehouses and ensure stock is received, stored and shipped within in line with our KPIs whilst adhering to BRC procedures. In April 2021 I joined Golden Acre Foods as a Purchasing Specialist (Chilled). In the role I contributed to the smooth and successful running of the business by ordering the right volume to arrive at the correct time which is crucial to help continued growth. My responsibilities included critical purchase ordering within agreed timescales, organising collections with logistical partners and I was accountable for forecasting of base, promotional and product launch volumes. I managed product life cycles to meet agreed KPIs on service level and wastage. I coordinated with the sales team, our suppliers and our logistics partners to contribute to the ongoing development of business processes. I engaged with key retailers to deliver benefits to the wider team and company.From 2012 to 2018 at Glory Global Solutions I managed production planning and master scheduling for four product ranges in the desktop note (DTP) and coin counters division. I managed the daily production scheduling and inventory management for a product range with a sales in excess of £15 million. In 2013 I represented Glory Supply Chain team as a super user for a new ERP system (QAD Enterprise). I communicated with contract manufacturers daily and ensured stock turns and Glory's stock management goals were achieved. I helped to realise cost savings of over £1.5m in FY2016.Prior to De La Rue and Glory, I worked in the automotive sector concentrating on inventory and warehouse management and marketing. I have good experience of industry standard supply chain processes including S&OP, IBP, demand and supply forecasting, MRP and item master management. I speak fluent French and conversational Spanish and German. I am an advanced MS Office (Excel) user. At Glory I led in-house Excel training sessions for colleagues as part of the Great Place to Work scheme, for which I was recognised. I continue this work at Golden Acre Foods and really enjoy being one of the Tech leads for my department focussing on process improvement via VBA programming.
