I am a Biology graduate with over seven years of experience in research projects. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in the United Kingdom, focusing on cellular migration in the intestine and the associated diseases when this mechanism fails, specifically colorectal cancer. My research centers on the protein Adenomatous Polyposis Coli (APC) and its role as an actin nucleator in the cytoskeleton.I have extensive experience in microscopy, which I use alongside advanced cellular and molecular biology techniques to unravel the underlying mechanisms of cellular migration and their implications in oncogenesis. My work has resulted in several publications in scientific journals, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in this field.I am committed to research excellence and passionate about interdisciplinary collaborations that can lead to new discoveries and advancements in cancer therapy and beyond. My goal is to contribute to the development of new treatment strategies that improve the lives of patients affected by various diseases related to cellular migration failures.
