Current• Successfully project-manage and deliver a contract with the Government's Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and the Cell & Gene Therapy Catapult. Oversee 35 in-person courses and facilitate learning for 290 learners during the Covid Pandemic.• Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives as a member of the NHC's Senior Leadership Team, aligning with the University vision and corporate strategy.• Lead the development and implementation of the NHC's annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) delivery plan, driving long-term business strategy.• Cultivate strategic partnerships with external stakeholders to identify and capitalise on current and future opportunities for the NHC's CPD programs and other activities.• Provide visionary leadership for NHC's CPD, ensuring alignment with University strategic objectives and monitoring performance.• Utilise management information to inform senior decision-making, drive strategic vision, and facilitate efficient business planning and project management.• Manage staff resources within the NHC CPD team, fostering a supportive environment, conducting personal development reviews, and promoting effective contribution through initiatives.• Exercise financial oversight, monitoring budget within area of responsibility and providing advice on financial implications for management decisions.• Represent the NHC and University at various events, conferences, and forums, enhancing the reputation of the NHC and University.• Conduct laboratory tours at the NHC and participate in business development meetings with potential industry partners.• Collaborate with colleagues across the University to optimise business, operational, and delivery systems supporting NHC CPD provision.• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, integrating external best practices into organizational processes.
