Responsible to the station director for the technical operation of WETS-FM/HD and its three distinct program streams. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of radio broadcasting. Knowledge of ENCO-DAD system. Knowledge of Content Depot distribution system. Knowledge of digital recording and editing, preferably with Samplitude editing system. Knowledge of public radio practices, procedures, trends, and resources. Knowledge of WETS-FM/HD programming. Knowledge of good human relations skills related to supervising professional personnel. Knowledge of both basic and specialized computer functions. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to meet constant deadlines. Ability to troubleshoot quickly and effectively. Ability to communicate effectively.Ability to make judicious decisions. Ability to train staff, interns, and producers as necessary. Ability to provide initiative and originality for problem solving and leadership. Ability to work with station staff, university personnel, external program producers, and the public. Ability to work on the air as needed. Ability to do strategic planning. Ability to develop and implement policies effectively. Ability to organize in order to prioritize and perform multiple tasks.

Things Required of Executive Aide Position:Knowledge of modern office practices procedures and equipment. Knowledge of accounting functions and business management operations. Knowledge of public relations, customer service, and community relations. Ability to read, interpret and apply facility usage policies. Ability to evaluate situations and make appropriate decisions. Ability to establish and maintain an effective relationship with students, faculty, staff and other facility users. Ability to work in situations with tight time constraints. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to prepare and manage budgets. Ability to direct the flow of a considerable volume of detailed work. Ability to use good judgment. Ability to work as a team member and provide customer quality service. Ability to organize and direct multiple activities simultaneously.

I cobbled together local news and recorded evening news of approximately 3 minutes on days I was assigned to cover it. I also filled in on station breaks/IDs whenever needed.
