Providing practical guidance and support to local businesses as part of the North Devon+ Business Support team who, in partnership with North Devon Council and Torridge District Council are delivering a comprehensive package of business support through the 'Business Boost' initiative.The initiative aims to help local companies recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic through the delivery of a support package that will provide businesses with free one to one business support tailored to the needs of their business to help them to recover and thrive and will include support to new entrepreneurs, assisting individuals to explore self-employment and business start-up as a positive choice.Support business transformation and innovation - Supporting businesses to explore opportunities, innovate and transform themselves in the context of changed markets and environment - for survival, safe operating, and growth. Small grants for business support and development – As part of the support package businesses will be able to work alongside the business adviser to apply for a Small Business Support Grant and to help small businesses to not just to survive, but to take the next step to thrive within a changed operating environment.

Successfully helping over 100 South West-based Start-ups/Entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life, by helping to design, prepare and execute their business ideas, through the delivery of effective Mentoring & Coaching services. Guiding through Business Planning, Cashflow Forecasting and Budgeting whilst sharing a wealth of first-hand business experience and knowledge to help make the journey smoother and more successful. In addition, I also deliver a regular Webinar session on Marketing & Finance to many hundreds of startups in the South West who were supported through the Governments New Enterprise Allowance program.
