I oversaw and helped children use the bathroom, get drinks of water, and do work in the hall. I was available to step into a classroom whenever the lead teacher needed it. I usually stepped into a classroom during teacher's lunch breaks. The children I worked with were aged 2-6. I also completed projects for the teachers and administration whenever it was needed, such as sorting books, creating classroom materials, or organizing cabinets.

I provided math assistance to classes of 20 students, ranging from 3rd to 8th grade. I would often work one-on-one with students who required extra help with the material. Otherwise, I would go around the class answering students' questions and helping them understand the material they were learning. I also worked at an after school program where students would come to get help with their homework. In addition, I attended monthly tutor trainings where my fellow tutors and I would meet with the head of the program in Oberlin, where we would discuss the most effective tutoring methods and content that would covered in the Oberlin public schools that year, to better prepare us for our tutoring work.
