CurrentResponsible for structure, implementation, maintenance and support of new projects for one of the biggest integrated IT and communication solutions providers in the world. My overall mission is to ensure the continuous integrity and reliability of all data and voice networks within the company. Viewed as a key resource, I have extensive knowledge of the company's physical and logical network topology and I work with Cisco in the implementation of complex scripts. I am responsible for the day-to-day support of the network communications & infrastructure architecture across all company locations, and I work with 3rd party vendors to ensure quality delivery and support of the network infrastructure. I also assist on disaster recovery planning, ensure robust network backup and recovery capability, work on capacity management and create technical documentation.Currently involved in a smart grid project in partnership with Cisco and Landis+Gyr for a large electrical company, an extremely challenging project requiring a complete restructure of the company's backbone. Other recent projects include a data centre migration consisting of 2 Core 6513 switches into a Nexus platform, with 2 N7004 and 16 2000 Fex series switches, as well as an upgrade from an EIGRP routing protocol to OSPF in order to add new functionalities and improve scalability. I operate with routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS and WAAS application accelerator.Platforms: Cisco 7600, ASR1000, ASR9001, ASR903, 1800, 2900, 2800, 3800, 3900, 6500, CGS2500, CGR2500.
