Extensive understanding and application of Health and Aged Care Accreditation requirements to ensure all support services meet or exceed these requirements whilst still able to maintain budgetary parameters. Developed and introduced a 'blueprint' assessment system' to measure and monitor the performance of all support systems employed. Based on this assessment, I was able to target areas for change to ensure efficiency and sustainability whilst still ensuring standards were not compromised. In some homes standards were even increased whilst reducing costs.At Mercy Health I was instrumental in developing the in-house cafe's to provide both a service to residents and to ensure costs were minimized.

At Barwon Health I was instrumental in the planning and then the amalgamation of 7 smaller kitchens into a single Cook/Chill CPU facility producing some 3500 meals per day. I was then responsible for the daily operation of this new CPU facility producing all meals required for Barwon Health facilitiesIn this role I was also responsible for the setting up and profitable operation of all Cafe's owned and operated by Barwon Health.
