Between age 16-current I help out my uncles landscape. We don't now head it was all hardscapes. Start to finish. Digging out using shovels and backhoes, adding 2b or modified type stone for a base, leveling everything even adding slope for rain to drain , paver walkways, driveways, big block displays made out of block or other stone type materials, mothering and jointing, always doing your best if not looking good I would have to rip it apart and do it over.
