Vetted to DV Strap 2 & TK. Managing a facility housing 60+ staff, I was tasked within a unit providing specialist support. I oversaw the design and implementation of a specialist operations room, developing a significant CCTV system capable of displaying in excess of 3000 feeds. I managed the planning and operational delivery of this operations suite, ensuring the provision of 24hr operational readiness. This included management of IT equipment, effective review, testing and implementation of plans and training on software applications used, including liaison with a software manufacturer regarding software development. In addition, as a subject matter expert, I trained users both internal and external, to agreed national model level.My role demanded the ability to think quickly and effectively under pressure to support ‘real time’ activity of operational units. As a covert communications tactical advisor, I was responsible for delivering intelligence at the most senior level both locally and nationally, providing effective and efficient strategies, communications plans and early identification of developing risk.A particular highlight of this posting was meeting the short notice need for a bespoke training package which I designed and delivered, for a foreign nation’s CT team to enable their full use of their new operations room facility. The course was required for a specialist unit with little experience and required in-depth, initially remote, working necessitating a rapid understanding of their requirements and manner of working. I then travelled to Africa to deliver this bespoke training package, which was exceptionally well received and resulted in two further visits following requests for my return to deliver enhanced training.

Vetted to DV Strap 2. Within this posting, I served to support both National and International Security Interests.Consistently responding effectively to the most pressing Intelligence requirements whilst adapting to pressing austerity measures. Completed Accredited Intelligence Officer Programme.

Like all police officers, I began my service as a constable, moving steadily through a wide foundation of training and development. This allowed me to successfully transfer to detective duties having demonstrated an intelligent and competent eye for detail, enquiry and observation. I worked in a range of roles across London including as an investigator and within community policing, working in close liaison with partner agencies to deliver effective and efficient service. I became a mentor to junior officers, supporting their development and increasing expertise.
