I am a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. I trained in a City of London Practice and joined George Hay in 1988. I was soon promoted to Taxation Partner, being responsible for tax advice and compliance throughout the firm.I am a current member and past Chairman of the Mid Anglia branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, and currently serve as a member of that Institute's Education Committee.I regularly lecture on taxation issues to other accountancy professionals.I am the co-author of "Tax Planning for the Smaller Business" a joint publication between the UK 200 Group and the Daily Telegraph..I like to be involved with the local community and am the Vice Chairman of the Huntingdonshire Chamber of Commerce.I also provide a tax consultancy service for other smaller practices on a confidential basisSpecialties: Tax planning, advising owners of small and medium sized businesses, auditing, lecturing on taxation matters
