I am a former healthcare professional who discovered a passion for Software Development, leading me to pursue a Computer Science degree at Oregon State University. I thrive on being challenged, continuously growing, and learning, especially when it comes to solving problems and building new tools, applications, services, and libraries. I enjoy collaborating with peers and networking within the tech community.Throughout my career transition, I leveraged my strong communication skills honed in healthcare to mentor and teach others. My experience in explaining complex medical concepts to patients translated seamlessly into helping new CS students learn to "speak" programming languages and approach problems algorithmically. This skillset is one I continue to refine as I embark on my software development career.
