In 2016, after more than 25 years working for Agfa, I decided to go for a new challenge and found it at Imec, a worldwide research center for nanoelectronics, in Heverlee-Leuven. My qualities and knowledge for materials and technology (vacuum technology, clean room, coating technology, adhesion, lasertechnology, etc) make me fit in the job as well as safety behaviour and leadership in a big organisation. As lab responsible I take care for the organisation and safety in 7 labs together with a hardware responsible we make the lab smouthly running. Beside the daily working I manage the investments of new labs coming up, I'm also involved in processing as consultant.Worked for Agfa-Gevaert N.V. Mortsel in research from 1990 till 2016 on different projects, for example dry film, procesless mastertoolfilm for printed circuit boards, procesless printing plates, digital phosphor plates Computed Radiography (needle imaging) and imaging on security cards.Specialised in high vacuum technology, chemical vapour deposition and physical vapor deposition. Process technology as well as hardware knowledge (pumps, measurements, crucible design, leak detecting, e.o.), diagnose of vacuum problems.Like to care responsibility, can motivate people. Used to work with PC's in network as local IT responsible.Specialties: Vacuum technology in general (process technology as well as trouble shooting), chemical vapor deposition and physical vapor deposition. Expert in parylene coating.Coating technology, knowledge of polymers for functional use and laser technology are daily used for laser engraving imaging.Very creative mind and I mean real creative.
