Chairman of the Greens Bayou Task Force, a group of area stakeholders with the goal of promoting $65 million in flood control improvements along Greens Bayou within the Harris County Flood Control District. A major component of this plan includes a 165 acre multi-use detention basin and recreational area.

Specific responsibility was to update all elements of the Comprehensive Plan and assist in neighborhood planning initiatives with a focus on the Transportation Plan and the Parks,Recreation & Open Space Plan. Other responsibilities included the integration of GIS into planning activities.
